In 2019, we received donations in memory of the following people:

We hope you can come to the museum to see projects of the Memorials Committee.
One current project includes having our county schools map restored and framed. A project just getting started is the rebinding of our 1951 classroom-sized Reader by Scott Forsman. We will be purchasing additional hanging kits for our art display panels and archival supplies.
During 2019, we used funds to rebuild our balance. During 2018, we purchased several mannequins to display clothing artifacts, display signs and installed a custom case for the digital photo frame in the military room. Some other projects completed with memorial funds include a shadow box displaying commemorative items from the 1860s, archival prints made of several old maps which are framed and hanging in our main hallway, digital photo frames in main hallway and Military room and archival storage supplies. Click on the photos below to see captions.
A large project completed in 2017 was canvas reproductions of vintage photos hanging in the main hallway. The canvas prints are now more easily viewed with amazing detail and informative signs. The irreplaceable originals are safely stored in the museum's vaults to avoid further deterioration.
